Helically wound cables

Helically wound cables are cables with a wire wrapped around them. These cables are typically used, with linear or rotary movement, coupled with gears inside casings or guides for remote controls.

In addition, the spiral cables can be heat treated to give better wear resistance and increase their flexibility.
